FREDERICK, Md. (AP) - The city of Frederick is advising residents that actors will be using fake guns during a downtown filming project.

Spokeswoman Patti Mullins says in a statement that a crew from the Silver Spring-based production company Sirens Media is filming Monday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

She says the guns will be holstered, and there will be no simulated firing.

Sirens Media produces true-crime programming and episodes for several reality shows on the cable television channel Bravo.
