Police: Driver hurt in crash involving police vehicle

CUMBERLAND, R.I. (AP) - Authorities say a person was injured in a crash involving a police vehicle in Rhode Island.

WJAR-TV (https://bit.ly/2focnCL ) reports police say the crash happened around 10:45 a.m. Thursday in the town of Cumberland. They say an officer’s SUV collided with another vehicle while on a call.

The officer wasn’t hurt but the other driver was treated for minor injuries. No one was immediately identified.
