For fans of Japanese anime cinema, D.C.’s Landmark Cinema theaters will be unveiling films from the Studio Ghibli film collective, the studio founded by director Hayao Miyazaki (“Spirited Away,” “My Neighbor Totoro”).
This weekend, “Kiki’s Delivery Service” and “Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind” will screen at Bethesda Row Cinema, with “Castle in the Sky” and “My Neighbor Totoro” at the E Street Cinema.
Mr. Miyazaki’s “Spirited Away,” about a young girl who undertakes a fantastical adventure, will screen at E Street Cinema March 19-20 and at Bethesda Row Cinema March 26-27.
