Ahead of The United State of Women Summit taking place June 14 and 15 in the District, the White House has released a video featuring Oprah Winfrey, Meryl Streep, Kerry Washington, Connie, Britton, Laverne Cox, Oprah Winfrey, Shonda Rhimes, Tina Fey and Michelle Obama, in which the women tout their strength as individuals and as a collective — as well as promote the conference, where such issues as economic empowerment, educational opportunity and innovation will be addressed.

The video was co-produced by BBH LA and PepsiCo’s Creators League content studio.

The summit will feature speakers and seminars at locations around the District. Topics include “Empowering Women Entrepreneurs Summit,” “Crafting the Big Picture: Empowering Women and Girls in STEM” and “Engaging Adolescent Girls and Boys in Achieving Gender Equality and Combating Gender-based Violence.”
