BuzzFeed reported Friday that Etan Cohen and Mike Judge, the creators of “Idiocracy,” have written a series of anti-Trump TV ads to star Terry Crews who played a wrestler-turned-U.S. president in the 2006 satirical movie about a dumbed-down America some 500 years into the future.
BuzzFeed noted that Mr. Cohen and Mr. Judge are waiting on Fox, which owns the rights to the character, to give the go-ahead for Mr. Crews to reprise his role as President Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho.
“The most dangerous contrast to Trump is that Camacho actually realizes he needs advice from other people, and knows that he’s not the smartest guy in the room,” Mr. Cohen said.
