Fox 5 anchor Jim Lokay threw out the first pitch at last Thursday’s game between the Baltimore Orioles’ AA affiliate the Bowie Baysox and the Richmond Flying Squirrels, which the Baysox won at home by a final score of 4-3. Both teams play in the Eastern League.
Mr. Lokay, who joined WTTG-TV Fox 5 in the District in November, tossed out the inaugural ball as part of “Jim Appreciation Night,” whose purpose is to celebrate people named James or Jim in the sports and pop culture worlds.
