VICTOR, N.Y. (AP) - State police say a tow truck driver and three other people have been injured in a multi-vehicle crash at a Thruway exit in western New York.
Troopers say the accident occurred around 10:20 p.m. Tuesday in the westbound lanes at Exit 45 in the Ontario County town of Victor, 10 miles southeast of Rochester.
Police say a car struck the rear of another car that was being tended to by a tow truck driver from Benson’s Towing. Troopers say the force of the collision caused the second car to hit the truck driver.
Troopers say the truck driver was taken to a Rochester hospital, where he’s in stable condition after undergoing surgery for non-life-threatening injuries. Three other people suffered minor injuries.
The driver of the first car was ticketed for failing to move over for an emergency vehicle.
