GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) - The Glendale Police Department had their own running of the bulls chase when cattle got loose in a residential neighborhood in the Phoenix suburb.

The Arizona Republic reports (https://bit.ly/2ixo8bU ) that police spokesman Sgt. Scott Waite says three bulls were loose near 79th Avenue and Glendale Avenue on Thursday.

The bulls were not in the roadway and police were able to isolate the animals in a parking lot.

Waite says police waited for animal control officials to assist in the capture of the bulls. The rancher who owned the animals picked them up from police.
