Child fatally struck by vehicle in Yonkers

YONKERS, N.Y. (AP) - A 3-year-old boy has been struck and killed by a vehicle in Yonkers.

Police say the boy was with his mother when it happened just before 1 p.m. Thursday in front of St. Joseph’s Medical Center.

The Journal News (https://lohud.us/2htPzBK ) reports the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.

Police are still investigating the accident.
