LOCKHART, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say two children died in a central Florida wrong-way crash.

The Florida Highway Patrol says the crash occurred Wednesday afternoon.

A report says a woman driving near Lockhart crossed into the oncoming lanes and was hit by an SUV. FHP says a 10-year-old girl and a 12-year-old girl in the car were killed.



The report says both drivers were taken to an Orlando hospital, but there injuries weren’t clear.

The cause of the crash was being investigated.
