COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) - Two 18-year-old men have been arraigned in the deadly shooting of another man in Columbia during a botched drug deal.

The Columbia Missourian (https://bit.ly/2ieXiFE ) reports that Brian Hakeem Smith and Dariel Marquise Reid are jailed on second-degree murder charges in the death of 33-year-old Keith Chambers. Their arraignment was Tuesday in Boone County. No attorneys are listed for them in online court records.

A 16-year-old who’s accused in court records of being the triggerman is in juvenile detention. Court records say the shooting happened last week after Smith and Chambers attempted to purchase marijuana from Reid.

The records say gunfire erupted when Chambers pulled out a gun in an attempt to steal the marijuana. He and Smith had been invited to weigh the marijuana in Reid’s apartment.
