LAS VEGAS (AP) - A firefighter has been injured after battling a blaze in Las Vegas.
KLAS-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2ireBDe ) that the firefighter suffered a minor ankle injury while battling the house fire on Wednesday. The firefighter was taken to University Medical Center as a precaution.
Fire officials say a squatter was living in the vacant home at the time of the fire and that the house had previously been burned by squatters.
The flames were quickly extinguished when firefighters arrived at the scene.
