KINGMAN, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities are deciding whether to charge a 51-year-old woman who fatally shot her boyfriend during an altercation in northeastern Arizona.
The shooting happened on Christmas Eve at a home in the unincorporated community of Golden Valley near Kingman.
Police say 55-year-old Sanford Hornstein is dead and his girlfriend, Melinda Louise Pedigo, is cooperating with police. Both lived at the home.
The case was sent to the Mohave County Attorney’s Office to determine whether Pedigo will be charged.
