Man shot to death outside downtown Little Rock apartment

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Police say a man has died after being shot outside a downtown Little Rock apartment complex.

Officer Richard Hilgeman told reporters that 52-year-old John Barfield was found Saturday night with a gunshot wound and died later during surgery at a hospital.

Hilgeman says Barfield was apparently arguing with another man when he was shot and police are trying to determine if a man who was treated at a hospital Saturday night is the second man in the argument.

Police say no arrests have been made.
