SAN ANTONIO (AP) - One man has been killed and another hurt in a construction accident in downtown San Antonio.
Authorities say two men fell about 60 feet from inside a box that tipped as it was being lifted Monday afternoon to the window of a building. One man died at the scene. The other is hospitalized in critical condition.
San Antonio Fire Chief Charles Hood says the box was on a forklift carrying construction equipment. Hood says both men were dumped to the street where one of them was hit by the falling box.
Police and the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration officials are investigating.
