ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Anchorage police are investigating a report that six men wearing masks robbed a home.
Police were called early Monday morning about the report that the men broke into Brandon Street house.
The homeowner told KTUU (https://is.gd/M2ppXZ) the robbery occurred as he and a female friend arrived after a grocery shopping trip. The homeowners say they heard a noise coming from inside the house.
The homeowner told the friend to stay in the car, then walked into the home. He says the next thing he knew, he was on the ground with a shotgun at his back.
Electronics equipment, a purse and other items reportedly were taken.
Police spokeswoman Jennifer Castro says police are investigating.
No major injuries were reported and no suspects were immediately taken into custody.
