DETROIT (AP) - A father and his teenage son are being held in the beating death of an unidentified man inside a Detroit liquor store.

Police say the victim is believed to be in his 60s. They say he was attacked Sunday evening during an argument and was pronounced dead at a hospital.

A 39-year-old man was arrested after returning to the northwest Detroit store, and his 15-year-old son was arrested later. Their names weren’t released.



Police also are investigating the Saturday evening slaying of another unidentified man who was chased into a market north of downtown by four men and beaten.

One attacker struck the victim in the head with a metal dolly.

A 33-year-old man has been arrested. Police say they’re seeking three other suspects.
