Monroe deputies collecting wheelchairs

ABERDEEN, Miss. (AP) - The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department is accepting donations of new or used wheelchairs.

Deputies tell WTVA-TV (https://bit.ly/1oG6A8c ) that the wheelchairs will be refurbished by inmates and provided to local residents who need them.

All donations can be taken to the Sheriff’s Department in Aberdeen weekdays from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. The department’s offices are at 700 S Meridian St.
