ARDEN-ARCADE, Calif. (AP) - Authorities in Sacramento County say three people were killed and 12 others wounded in a spate of separate shootings over a roughly 48-hour period.

The Sacramento Bee reports (https://bit.ly/1gyVu4 t) that the third homicide occurred late Sunday in Arden-Arcade east of Sacramento. The unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

It was preceded by another fatal shooting - this one in the parking lot of a Sacramento Home Depot. Authorities say someone drove up to 46-year-old Hassan Alawsi on Sunday and fired at least one gunshot before driving away.

The first homicide occurred on Friday night, when someone fired into the garage of a Sacramento home where a family event was being celebrated. The victim has been identified as 24-year-old Isac Vang.

No suspects have been identified in the three shootings.
