SEAT PLEASANT, Md. (AP) - Prince George’s County police say they have made an arrest in a fatal shooting this weekend in Seat Pleasant.
Police say officers were called to an automotive business Saturday evening for the report of a shooting. Officers found 55-year-old Donald Campbell of Seat Pleasant suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Campbell died on the scene.
After the shooting, police spoke to 43-year-old Archie Singleton of Upper Marlboro, who was an employee at the business. Police say he was carrying a handgun and acknowledged he was involved in the shooting.
On Sunday, police said Singleton has been charged with second-degree murder. Police are still investigating a motive in the case.
