TOBYHANNA, Pa. (AP) - U.S. Marshals have arrested a man in South Carolina who they say skipped bail in connection with a 2008 bank robbery in Pennsylvania.

Authorities said 58-year-old Gregory Edward Wagner was working at a Lexington, S.C., business called Coastal Financial Services. Marshals arrested him there Tuesday on a charge of failure to appear in court to face a bank robbery charge.

Authorities said he skipped bail in 2010 after being charged with robbing a bank in Tobyhanna, Monroe County in December 2008.

The U.S. Marshals Service received a lead on Wagner’s whereabouts that sent investigators to South Carolina. Marshals said Wagner surrendered without incident.

He’s being held at the Mecklenburg County Prison in South Carolina, pending a court appearance and any further hearings relating to his extradition to Pennsylvania.
