RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - Police in Raleigh credit a cell phone photo and tips from the public in helping them arrest a man who they say tried to solicit sex from a teenager.

A statement from police said 69-year-old Gennaro Salvatore Anastasio is charged with indecent liberties with a minor. He is free on $50,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court on Friday.

Raleigh police said someone driving a tan- or sliver-colored sedan solicited a sex act from a 13-year-old boy on Feb. 21. The boy refused and the suspect drove away, but not before the boy took a picture of the person with his cell phone.

Anastasio was arrested on Thursday, two days after investigators released the photo to the public.
