NASHUA, N.H. (AP) - A Nashua, N.H., woman has admitted beating her 2-year-old son to death.

Unique Gould was charged in May with manslaughter and police said she punched and spanked Devon Gould so violently that he lost consciousness. Gould, who was 21 at the time of the attack, then waited nearly a day before getting medical attention. Devon Gould died after two weeks in a hospital.

WMUR-TV (https://bit.ly/1i9wkcz ) reports Gould pleaded guilty Friday and will be sentenced to 12 years in prison. Gould, who is four months pregnant, also said she would turn over custody of the child to her husband.
