OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) - Nearly three dozen state troopers were sworn in at a ceremony at the Capitol.
The 35 troopers graduated from the Washington State Patrol Academy and were sworn in by Washington State Supreme Court Justice Debra Stephens on Friday and were presented their commission cards by Governor Jay Inslee and Chief John R. Batiste.
Each trooper cadet completed more than 1,000 hours of training.
