ST. CHARLES, Ill. (AP) - Two workers of a suburban Chicago nursing home are accused of abusing an elderly resident and videotaping it.
St. Charles police say Jacqueline Santos and Chemyra Barnett each are accused of one count of aggravated battery of a person older than 60 and of unlawful videotaping. Both are felonies.
Police say an administrator of Rosewood Care Center notified authorities Thursday of the suspected wrongdoing two days earlier.
Investigators say the victim was not injured.
Santos and Barnett do not have listed home telephone numbers and could not be reached for comment Friday. It was not immediately clear if they have attorneys.
