BRADENTON, Fla. (AP) - A Tampa Bay area man has been sentenced to life in prison for a fatal shooting.
A Manatee County judge sentenced 33-year-old Earl Scott on Thursday. He was convicted in January of second-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Authorities say Scott shot 29-year-old Ruben Harris three times outside a Bradenton gas station in April 2012.
The Bradenton Herald (https://goo.gl/4fRbhC ) reports that two witnesses who know Scott identified him as the shooter.
