GULFPORT, Miss. (AP) - A judge has sentenced a Harrison County man to three life sentences in the deaths of family members.
Marty Saucier pleaded guilty Thursday to fatally shooting his parents, Kenneth and Kay, and his younger brother, Matthew, at the family home in Saucier on April 23, 2012. The bodies were found two days later.
Saucier told the judge that he was under the influence of methamphetamine.
Two of the life sentences will run consecutively, and the third concurrent.
Prosecutors say the shootings happened on a Monday and Saucier waited until Wednesday to text a relative saying, “They’re all dead. Call 911.”
