BRATTLEBORO, Vt. (AP) - Two young men have been arrested in a string of burglaries in southern Vermont.
Vermont State Police say 23-year-old Gordon Bills and 20-year-old Cody Thompson, both of Wardsboro, are facing multiple counts of burglary and possession of and receiving stolen property.
Police said Wednesday that they were able to solve eight recent burglaries in Wardsboro, Stratton, Jamaica, Newfane and surrounding towns and recovered a large amount of stolen property.
Bills and Thompson have been cited to appear in court on May 20. It was not immediately known if they were being represented by lawyers.
Police say they are continuing to investigate the burglary spree and ask anyone with information to contact the Brattleboro barracks at 802-254-2382.
