PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Gasoline prices in Rhode Island were down two cents from last week.

The latest AAA Southern New England price survey released Monday says self-serve, regular unleaded averaged $3.50 a gallon.

Prices locally are down two cents from a month ago. The current price is 22 cents higher than the national average for regular unleaded of $3.28.



Motorists in Rhode Island were paying a penny more a year ago at this time.

The range in prices for unleaded regular was 21 cents, from $3.41 to $3.62.
