SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) - Shreveport police have announced the arrest of a Shreveport man in connection with the shooting of two men on Dec. 30.
Police said 18-year-old Demarcy Armstrong was arrested Wednesday morning at a Shreveport residence. He was booked on two counts of attempted first-degree murder in connection with the shooting that wounded two men.
Police said bond for Armstrong was set at $130,000. Booking records gave no indication of whether he has an attorney.
Police said the December shooting is believed to have followed a dispute that arose during a drug deal.
