BOISE, Idaho (AP) - Police in Boise are investigating a cab driver’s report that someone stole his car at gunpoint.
ABC Taxi dispatcher Beverly Glassen says she received a call from two men who wanted a ride from a fast food restaurant at 10 p.m. Tuesday. The driver picked up the men, but when they got to Meridian he said the men pulled a gun on him and forced him into the passenger seat.
The man said they took his wallet and phone and dropped him off east of Boise, forcing him to walk over a mile to a Boise hospital, where he called police at about 4 a.m. Wednesday.
The red Kia Soul was located at about 9 a.m.
