ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) - Golden Production won the $75,000 Paseana Stakes by a head at Santa Anita on Sunday for her fourth victory in a row.

Ridden by Martin Pedroza, Golden Production ran 1 1/16 miles in 1:44.34 and paid $20.80, $7.60 and $4 at 9-1 odds.

Stanwyk, named for the late Oscar-winning actress Barbara Stanwyk, returned $3.80 and $2.40. Halo Dolly was another 1¾ lengths back in third and paid $2.60 to show. Miss Serendipity, the 2-1 favorite, finished fourth in her U.S. debut.



The victory, worth $46,800, increased Golden Production’s career earnings to $208,140, with five wins in 11 starts. She was claimed three starts back for $40,000 by trainer Peter Miller.
