A look at uninsured young adults in Tenn. counties

According to an Associated Press study, which was conducted by the State Health Access Data Assistance Center at the University of Minnesota, 26 percent of the 1.7 million Tennesseans between the ages of 19 and 39 were uninsured in 2011. Their premiums are seen as crucial under the federal health care law to offset the cost of insuring older adults, who are more likely to be nursing chronic ailments.
