ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. (AP) - A company that has existing operations in Somerset and Lebanon with 450 employees is investing $20 million to open a facility in Elizabethtown, creating 75 jobs there.

Hendrickson USA LLC’s Elizabethtown plant will make products to supply operations in nearby states.

Gov. Steve Beshear’s office says construction of the 100,000-square-foot facility is expected to be finished later this year.

Hendrickson is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of medium- and heavy-duty suspension systems, axle systems, springs, and bumper and trim components.

The state has approved tax incentives up to $1.55 million for the project.
