Former Vt. middle school for sale

BENNINGTON, Vt. (AP) - A former middle school in Bennington, Vt., is up for sale.

Canadian developer Malcolm Lewis bought the dilapidated Mount Anthony Middle School five years ago at an auction for $50,000.

The Bennington Banner reports (https://bit.ly/Jea059) the 2.29-acre parcel is for sale at $750,000.

Lewis said he had planned to turn the large brick building into condominiums with indoor parking, but the local economy never allowed for it.
