NAPA, Calif. (AP) - A car crash on a busy highway in Northern California on Sunday killed a 4-year-old boy and injured four people, including a well-known chef.
California Highway Patrol Officer Jaret Paulson said the collision occurred west of Napa, Calif., on State Highway 21.
The 4-year-old boy was a passenger in a Chevrolet that collided with a Lexus. The two other people in the Chevrolet sustained significant injuries, Paulson said.
Authorities said the driver of the Lexus and his passenger, identified as 58-year-old Cindy Pawlcyn - a well-known wine country chef and restaurateur who owns Mustard’s Grill and other restaurants - sustained minor injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
