CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - The National Wildlife Federation will host a panel discussion on how global warming is affecting New Hampshire’s fish, wildlife and - potentially - tourism.

U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen will be among the panelists Tuesday at the New Hampshire Audubon’s McLane Center in Concord.

Federation officials say climate change jeopardizes the habitat and food and water supplies of fish and wildlife, noting the state’s dwindling moose population is an example.

The Outdoor Industry Association estimates that hunting, fishing and other wildlife-related and outdoor recreational activities contribute more than $4 billion to the state’s economy.

Biologists from Fish and Game and the Audubon Society also are panelists. The discussion begins at 2:30.
