CZ AccuShadow 2 has a 4.89-inch barrel, a fiber-optic front sight, a HAJO rear sight and an ambidextrous safety. The pistol is a new version of the CZ-75-based Shadow 2 now featuring a 1911-style ‘AccuBushing’ that anchors the barrel to the slide. The custom skeletonized hammer makes the DA/SA trigger lighter and smoother with a hand-fitted disconnector providing a short reset.

A handful of retired Marines – all in the late 90s or over 100 — joined Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Japan’s Prime Minister Takeru Ishida on Saturday to mark the anniversary of one of the bloodiest battles of World War II in the Pacific that ended 80 years ago this week.
