Court records show that Penn pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor in a Nebraska drug possession case and paid a fine. Penn, and his girlfriend, 26-year-old Uma Von Wittkamp, were arrested April 4 after a state trooper stopped their vehicle on Interstate 80 in southeastern Nebraska. A handful of retired Marines – all in the late 90s or over 100 — joined Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Japan’s Prime Minister Takeru Ishida on Saturday to mark the anniversary of one of the bloodiest battles of World War II in the Pacific that ended 80 years ago this week.
