Thousands of pages of court documents reveal previously secret misconduct as attorneys for Hedlund argue he was unfairly fired in 2013 after complaining about speeding by then-Gov. Terry Branstad's security detail. The Iowa Attorney General's Office has asked a judge to dismiss the case before a trial that's scheduled for April 2018.
