A man accused of leading a major transnational cocaine trafficking organization in Central America was arrested in San Diego and made his initial federal court appearance Friday, April 24, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of California. Eugenio Dario Molina-Lopez, 61, known as "Don Dario," is alleged to be the leader of Los Huistas, a transnational drug trafficking organization based in the Huehuetenango region of northwestern Guatemala along the Mexican border. Hegseth joins veterans, generals to mark 80th anniversary of battle of Iwo Jima
A handful of retired Marines – all in the late 90s or over 100 — joined Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Japan’s Prime Minister Takeru Ishida on Saturday to mark the anniversary of one of the bloodiest battles of World War II in the Pacific that ended 80 years ago this week.
