PICKET: NY Congressman defends Wall St. protesters-tells Wall St. constituents to get over it

Although Congressman Jerry Nadler, New York Democrat, represents the residents in the Wall Street area of Manhattan, he is defending protesters who are occupying Zuccoti Park in New York's financial distict and telling his constituents to just suck it up and deal with the inconveniences the protesters have brought to the neighborhood. The "occupy" demonstrations first launched in his district last month.

Not to be outdone by the likes of Venezuela's Hugo Chavez, who claimed there is "horrible repression" of the "Occupy Wall Street" protesters or by an Iranian commander who called the demonstrations an "American Spring," Communist Party USA wants in on the "Occupy" protest action.

The Occupy Wall Street crowd are almost 20 days into their protest in New York's downtown financial district. While it was difficult to pin down who the group would like to see in the White House in 2012, one woman was angry at President Barack Obama for not doing enough with creating jobs and believed the jobs bill in Washingotn would be unhelpful. Like many at the OWS gathering she was critical of banks and corporations.

PICKET: Occupy Wall Street protesters post grievances

According to a statement by the members of the "Occupy Wall Street" protest, a number of grievances were "unanimously voted on" at 8pm on Thursday evening. The declaration states this is the first official document from the "Occupy Wall Street" protesters and three more statements will be released titled: 1) A declaration of demands. 2) Principles of Solidarity 3) Documentation on how to form your own Direct Democracy Occupation Group.
