Surprisingly, Rep. Anthony Weiner, New York Democrat, seems scarily elusive this campaign season. Mr. Weiner has been representing New York’s 9th Congressional District since 1999, and one wonders if frustration with liberal Democrats in Congress may have reached Mr. Weiner’s neck of the woods this time around. NY State GOP Chairman on Hoffman: He's a patriot
New York's 23rd Congressional District has one less candidate running his campaign now. Doug Hoffman dropped his bid to run on the Conservative line in the race against Democrat Congressman Bill Owens and Republican challenger Matt Doheny. Mr. Hoffman previously ran against Mr. Owens in a special election against Mr. Owens when former Republican Congressman John McHugh vacated the seat about one year ago.
CNN's Sanchez drowned in his own pity party
CNN fired Rick Sanchez last week following a rant the now former CNN anchor made on a radio show, when he wondered if Jews are truly favored more in the media. After calling comedian Jon Stewart a bigot, Mr. Sanchez said, "Everyone who runs CNN is a lot like Stewart, and a lot of people who run all the other networks are a lot like Stewart, and to imply that somehow they, the people in this country who are Jewish, are an oppressed minority? Yeah."
One Nation attendees remain unsure about November
Liberal activists gathered in Washington D.C. at the Lincoln Memorial on Saturday afternoon and participated in the “One Nation Working Together” rally. Attendees roared and chanted often in response to speakers’ various remarks, but uncertainty about the November elections still permeated throughout the group.

Phelps family to protest military funerals at Arlington National Cemetery
