Anti-tax advocate and president of Americans for Tax Reform Grover Norquist likened Republican elected officials who vote for tax increases to ill-placed vermin body parts Thursday.
Speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference, Mr. Norquist, whose anti-tax pledge is often seen as a litmus test for Republican politicians from Capitol Hill to statehouses around the country, warned of a situation where someone gets part of the way through a bottle of Coke, then finds a rat head.

“Republican elected officials who vote for tax increases are rat heads in a Coke bottle,” Mr. Norquist said.
