The super PAC backing GOP nominee Mitt Romney raised $15 million last month while spending almost nothing, leaving $17 million in the bank as of October 1. It has spent $11 million since that time, filings showed Friday.
In September, Restore Our Future received $2 million from conservative mega-donor and Texas homebuilder Bob Perry; $1 million from Houston Texas CEO Robert McNair; $1 million from Steven Lund and his wife, of Nu Skin Enterprises, who had previously given large amounts through shadowy LLCs; and $1 million from contractor Stanley Herzog of Missouri.

Restore Our Future paid $339,000 last month in fundraising fees to a firm established by Romney confidant Spencer J. Zwick in September.
