The Nats' de facto ace is struggling big-time, leaving the Nats trying to figure out what's going on.
Thru 3: This is gonna be a wild one
John Lannan gets knocked out after 1 2/3 innings and seven runs allowed. Jim Riggleman gets ejected after arguing his third questionable call of the game. And then Ronnie Belliard hits a grand slam on the next pitch to cut the Brewers' lead to 8-6.

Though it's raining pretty hard right now, the system should pass through early enough for the Nats to get tonight's game in against the Brewers.

The Nats' once-potent lineup was left impotent by the Rockies' pitching staff during a three-game sweep.
