The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is a 2026 animated adventure comedy film based on the 2007 video game Super Mario Galaxy and its 2010 sequel, as well as Nintendo's broader Mario franchise. Produced by Illumination and Nintendo, and distributed by Universal Pictures, it is the sequel to The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023). Directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic and written by Matthew Fogel, the film stars an ensemble voice cast consisting of Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, Jack Black, and Keegan-Michael Key reprising their roles from the first film, with Benny Safdie, Donald Glover, Brie Larson, and Glen Powell joining the cast. In the film, Mario, Luigi, and their friends adventure across outer space beyond the world of the Mushroom Kingdom to rescue Princess Rosalina from Bowser Jr., Bowser's son, who plans to utilize her power to conquer the galaxy. - Source: Wikipedia
