The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (SBTS), located in Louisville, Kentucky, is the oldest of the six seminaries affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC). The seminary was founded in 1859 at Greenville, South Carolina, and later moved to its current location.
