The Coast Guard icebreaker Healy guides the Russian tanker Renda closer to a fuel-transfer mooring point near Nome, Alaska, on Saturday. The tanker carrying much-needed fuel to Nome moored less than a half-mile from the town's iced-in harbor, and workers on Sunday started final preparations for delivering the diesel fuel and gasoline by hose.
