This Wednesday, July 26, 2017 photo shows The Fair Deal Cafe in Omaha, Neb. The restaurant — dubbed “Black City Hall” because of the elected officials often found there — closed in 2003, after nearly 50 years of serving up soul food. Fourteen years later, the restaurant is once again open in its original location, through the efforts of the Omaha Economic Development Corp. Jon Nielle Allen is the new owner.
